Wilkins investigates the notion of conflict and terrorism within the contemporary social and political world, as well as its representation within the printed image. Recent works have aimed to make simplistic alterations to such imagery using the tool of photo montage to discard and shift the meaning of images. |
Wilkins Arbeiten untersuchen die Auswirkung von Konflikt und Terrorismus auf die zeitgenössische soziale und politische Welt. Er arbeitet mit Bildern die durch (Print-) Medien verbreitet wurden und kommentiert so unsere Interpretation von Realität. Neuere Arbeiten haben zum Ziel diese Bilder mit Mitteln der Fotomontage zu verändern und so deren Bedeutung zu beeinflussen. |
